The COVID pandemic has been a traumatic and disruptive experience for the life of many. Health professionals and patients alike moved through hope and despair, as they faced sickness and death. However, this challenging time has been also a unique opportunity for advancement in medical science and in the awareness of what lies at the core of the health care profession.
